Two papers from NCCR MARVEL researchers make JCP Editor's Choice 2018 list

This was published on February 18, 2019

NCCR MARVEL director Nicola Marzari and Anatole von Lilienfeld, project leader of Incubator Project 2, were both cited in the Journal of Chemical Physics's Editor's Choice 2018 list, a selection of the JCP articles presenting significant and definitive research in experimental and theoretical areas of the field.

Marzari was cited for the paper  "Continuum models of the electrochemical diffuse layer in electronic-structure calculations," written with colleagues Francesco Nattino, also at EPFL's lab of Theory and Simulation of Materials,  as well as Matthew Truscott and Oliviero Andreussi at the University of North Texas.

von Lilienfeld was cited for the paper "Non-covalent interactions across organic and biological subsets of chemical space: Physics-based potentials parametrized from machine learning;" written with colleagues Tristan Bereau of the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Robert A. DiStasio Jr. of Cornell University and Alexandre Tkatchenko of the University of Luxembourg.
