"My advice to young girls who want to pursue a scientific career: do it, because you can!"

Meet Emiliana Fabbri, senior researcher in materials science from NCCR MARVEL in the Electrochemistry Laboratory (LEC) at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Villigen. Emiliana wants to develop new materials capable of converting renewable energy into hydrogen, potentially the fuel of the future. She is responsible for various research projects that she leads with her PhD students.

Within MARVEL, Emiliana is a recipient of an Agility Plus grant, targeted at new junior PIs, particularly women. She has also been awarded a PRIMA grant from the SNSF.

The #NCCRWomen campaign introduces you to a different woman working in research in a Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) every day. Follow the #NCCRWomen YouTube, Instagram and Twitter channels to meet them all!
